perfect circle

when your view on things are skewed your circle will never be perfect. man, i try to be zen most of the time but when a classmate is impossibly impossible i have no choice but to lose it.

watched some french new wave at the national museum…
le bonheur by agnes varda, 1965.
hmm, this film. i’m not sure what to think of it. the film’s colour palette is insanely beautiful (so full of spring pastels) but it’s so… deceptive. at some points i got distracted by the imagery (and the very cute children) i wasn’t following the dialogue. adultery is committed but as he was confessing the audience laughed. when the film ended i was eavesdropping (as usual, that’s what you do when you watch films alone) and someone said she preferred the other woman more. odd. even odder if you know the story… such superficial happiness!
