adventures in technology

— 11/03/2009

as much as i enjoy shiny new beepy things, i secretly revel in occasions when technology fails me. of course, the reason why technology failed me in the first place was due to human error… obsessive hoarding habits do not make conducive living environments, which consequently lead to missing things which you never knew would be important, like installation compact discs, and so on. i couldn’t connect my printer to the new laptop. technology, i think, can only do so much. especially when customer service is of disservice… i’m writing in circles! sometimes i just want to bang my head on something, but i know it’d cost too much.

anyway, i figured it out. the printer works with the laptop, no problem. so i printed and scanned some things.

COLLECTION YSL ET PIERRE BERGE

— 02/03/2009

crops from images of artworks in last week’s legendary auction. i can’t really remember which artworks these are, so you consider visiting the christie’s website, and zoooooom in all the way. i like looking at details, and pencil lines and paint texture – a mondrian square from far is not a square up close. such a beautiful collection, i don’t know why it went on auction.

black blocks between white blocks

(had 2 deadlines today so i’ve been busy – sorry for the disappearance, if anyone noticed.)
