at the national museum. «the bag» exhibition closes this sunday.
it took me some time to remember how i first came across this one.
it seems like i’ve been doing certain things backwards lately (such as going to a concert with no knowledge about the main act). the film is based on haruki murakami’s short story, but i only found out about this after…
turns out i learned about tony takitani after i started (obsessively) listening to ryuichi sakamoto, who did the music for the film. the book should come first, then the movie and score, right?

no matter. the sublime beauty of tony takitani is hard to capture in still form – it lies in movement and composition. and of course sakamoto’s piano scores. goosebumpy.

i bought myself an slr camera. i tend to buy myself early birthday presents (getting earlier each year…)

first roll verdict: everything looks ok, the camera is in good working condition, as is the lens… but i think i need to work on my focusing.
// there seems to be a problem with the comments. i’m not receiving email updates on new unapproved comments, so if your comment takes weeks to appear, i’m sorry! i don’t check my blog often. i use twitter too much now.
