looped frequencies
the study of human traffic as a form of visual frequency, the extraction of pattern amid chaos, and the exploration of the hypothesis that: public commute, as is all events and situations necessary in city life, is repetitive and thus mundane.
a web camera is programmed (using processing.org) to capture one-pixel-wide images 24 times per second, for a period of thirty minutes. the panoramas thus created are a fossilization of movement, space and time.
